Mobile camera application “GAMCAM” to arouse analog sensibility of users with analog camera technique.
The camera mobile applications that gained popularity recently are properly filtered and creates “emotional photographs” as main functions by imitating the light of the analog camera film. GAMCAM, however, not only generates the results of the photographs but also stimulates sensibility about the past through the traditional analog camera technique.

Bedside lamp with bookshelf
You may have experienced falling asleep while reading. You find the book face down and the lighting you forgot to turn off after waking up. THE BOOK is a bedside lighting and bookshelf available with a bookmark inspired by the shape of a book face down. If you put the book on the lighting for a bookmark it is turned off simultaneously. THE BOOK is the practical bedside lighting for people who loves reading before sleep.
THO BOOK - CONCEPT VIDEO
Making a Working Mock-up
THE BOOK is composed of 2 thin frames that remind you of a book cover. To make the concept of the lighting and bookshelf work, I put a 3mm thick touch sensor and white LED in the lower structure and made the button work by a metallic touch button. Just one action of putting the book on THE BOOK can bookmark the book and turn the lighting off at the same time.
In 2014, THE BOOK was highlighted at the Seoul Design Festival which is the biggest design exhibition in Korea
What Happens When Candy Meets Vegetable?
When you were a kid, did you ever imagine there were jelly beans inside the pea pods?
I really hated vegetables when I was little. so I started imagining about what I could have done to make me like them.
Using vivid colors, the book is intended to reframe vegetables in a vernacular that children are already affectionate toward.
"Cavities" is a series of prototypes in response to a design brief around creating a book on the theme of “containers.”
(The title of the series is a play on words between a kind of container and a kind of oral hygiene consequence!)
In the book, different fruits and vegetables are featured in portrait—each revealing a sweet center or sweet surrounding. Using vivid colors, the book is intended to reframe vegetables in a vernacular that children are already affectionate toward. Will they eat their vegetables now? Perhaps not, but they may not be able to look at a head of broccoli in same way ever again. We aren't!

Fast and Friendly Pill Delivery Service.
This project is redesigning an item that I threw out. What I threw out was a pill case. When I researched for the main user group, I found that the percentage of single-person households among a whole households in U.S. has been increasing over years as the result of research. In addition, the saddest moment for single-person households was when they were sick. Therefore, I made PILLIVERY app that is a fast and friendly Pill Delivery Service.
Through PILLIVERY service , I wanted to change the pre-existing image of medicine. People usually think medicine serious and unfriendly. However, think about your memory of receiving pills from your mom or good friends who really take care of you. Isn't it so warm as it is? The main motto of PILLIVERY is "Delivering medicine is the way of showing love to yourself or somebody who you love".
New ways of measurement
Four solutions to make measurement more accessible
This project is inspired by my childhood curiosity about measurement. When I was little, I wanted to measure everything. Based on my research, I was not alone: studies show that children like to quantify the world around them. As a product designer, I created four tools to make measurement more accessible.
GLOVES - First Solution
People use their open hands or arms in order to measure or compare lengths. However, it is difficult to make a accurate measurement with our eyes. I created a pair of gloves to make this process easier. The left glove has 1cm units marked on two sides. Wearing these gloves, you can measure anything in an instant.
GROW - Second Solution
GROW is a ruler that people can put into the soil to measure a plant. Its top is a magnifying glass, so kids can examine the plant in detail.
BRAND "1CM" - Third Solution
What if everything around us could be as a ruler? I imagined a brand “ 1cm” which incorporates 1cm increments in all its products.
This would be the defining characteristic of this brand and would enable its customers to measure anything around them.
MEASUREMENT ON SOLE - Fourth Solution
When children want to measure a distance, they can use their foot steps as a ruler by walking in a straight line. By printing measurements on the soles of their boots, children can measure distance, the size of leaves or stones or anything else they see by using the footprints they left on the ground.
